PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a curry capable of effectively preventing an oil exudation on the surface of the curry without being accompanied with a whitening, etc., even by a retort treatment and useful as a retort curry by making the carry contain a hardened high erucin rapessed oil therein. SOLUTION: This curry (A) contains (B) a hardened high erucin rapeseed oil (concretely, obtained by hydrogenating a high erucin rapeseed oil so as not to remain erucinic acid which is not favorable to health, by an extreme hydrogenation). Preferably, the curry contains 0.1-1.2 wt.%, more preferably 0.5-1.0 wt.% component (B) in view of the preventing effect of an oil exudation and an eat feeling such as melting in mouth. Also, the curry is obtained e.g. by adding the component (B) to the component (A) in a method of adding the component (B) into a seasoning oil to be added to a roux by dissolving therein before the retort sterilization treatment, etc., for dispersing uniformly to a whole product. |
