<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Na/S battery which can be easily disassembled and provide a disassembling method for the battery. SOLUTION: This Na/S battery comprises a solid electrolytic tube 2, a safety tube 3 containing Na and inserted into the electrolytic tube 2, a sulfur mold 4 arranged in the outer surrounding of the electrolytic tube 2, a positive pole container 1 housing the sulfur mold 4, an insulating ring 7 installed in the circumference of an upper part of the electrolytic tube 2, a cylindrical cap 16 installed on the insulating ring 7, a thin tube 8 extended upward from an upper cover 3a of the safety tube 3a and projected out of an upper cover 16a of the cap, and an eye bolt 14 set on the upper cover 3a of the safety tube and further, a lip part 11 produced by layering two walls and joining the upper ends each other is formed the outer circumference of the upper cover 16a of the cap, a lip part 12 is formed in the middle circumference between the center and the outer circumference of the upper cover 16a of the negative pole cap, and a lip part 13 is formed on a wall upper part of the positive pole container 1. In the disassembling work, the lip parts 11, 12 are cut and eliminated to separate the safety tube 3 and then the lip part 13 is cut and eliminated to separate the sulfur mold 4 and the positive pole container 1 and Na and S are recovered from the separated matters.</p> |
