<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate anxiety of water leakage of a pipe due to damage with high strength against impact and flexibility by connecting a flexuous synthetic resin tube having electric insulation, heat resistance and further earthquake resistance to the midways of a water supply tube and a hot water supply tube. SOLUTION: A flexuous synthetic resin tube 5 is connected to this side of an electric water heater body 1, a hot water supply tube 6 is connected to a mirror plate 12 on an upper surface of the body 1, and a relief valve 7 and a flexuous synthetic resin tube 8 are connected to the midway of the tube 6. The tubes 5, 8 use crosslinked polyethylene tube having flexibility. Accordingly, if the body 1 is applied by strong vibration or impact due to earthquake, it is not directly propagated to the tubes 2, 6, and since it is absorbed by the flexibilities of the tubes 5, 8, interferences cancel to one another to avoid its damage and to prevent water leakage.</p> |
