PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging container capable of stably storing even articles heavy in weight. SOLUTION: This packaging container comprises first container walls 7, slant walls 9 connected to the first container walls 7 through first folding lines, second container walls 11 connected to the slant walls 9 through second folding lines, each opening 22 defined in the slant walls 9 to accept one of ends of each article A, and each holding tab protrusively provided at each edge of the openings 22 and being within the openings so as to be engaged with an inner peripheral face of a recess in the end face of each article. The first container walls 7 are arranged at a substantially orthogonal angle with respect to the above second container walls 11, and the tip edge of each holding tab 20 is arranged between each first folding line and each second folding line, whereby the articles A will not fall off from one of both end openings of the packaging container 1 even in the case where a shock or the like is applied to the articles A, and the articles A can be stably held. |
