PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate a metal mold capable of being appropriated certainly for short time by comparing a plurality of first positioning data to be previously prepared with a plurality of second positioning data to be inputted, obtaining the result such that both data coincide with each other and then notifying a working device of a number of the first data metal mold, and selecting the metal mold. SOLUTION: A package is designed as preparation for a metal mold to manufacture a printed circuit board (step S11). Next, the package is compared with a package having the same size and the same number of pins of a package which has been already designed (S12). As a result of the comparison, it is discriminated whether metal mold data can be appropriated or not and when it is determined that an old metal mold can be appropriated, a metal mold selecting signal is automatically generated, thereby automatically selecting a metal mold stored in a metal mold housing unit and sending the selected metal mold to a package manufacturing unit (S13 and S16). When the old metal mold cannot be appropriated, the metal mold data is extracted and the metal mold is manufactured (S14 and S15). Accordingly, the package is manufactured (S17). |
