SOLUTION: This active oxygen eliminating agent or skin beautifying cosmetic composition comprises one or more kinds of plant extracts selected from among extracts of plant parts of Haematoxylon campechianum L., Lindera strychnifolia (Sieb.et Zucc.)F. Vill., Arctostaphylos uva-ursi (L). Spreng., Lycium chinense Mill., Perilla frutescens Britton var. acuta Kudo, Rubus suavissimus S.Lee, Nelumbo nucifera Gaertner and Lavandula vera D.C. The agent has excellent active oxygen eliminating action and further can improve a roughened skin and impart gloss and tenseness to the skin. Furthermore, the agent can be also utilized for general foods and beverages. |
