PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield machine capable of certainly and efficiently forming a passing space of a projected object on a shield main body outer peripheral part even in the case of drilling a hard natural ground, etc. SOLUTION: This shield machine has a back charge filling pipe 5 on an outer peripheral part of a shield main body 1. Thereafter, a preceding outbreak cutter 9a to form a passing space of the back charge filling pipe 5 on a starting port of a starting shaft and the natural ground by outbreaking in precedence to the back charge filling pipe 5 is provided on the outer peripheral part of the shield main body 1 at a front portion of the back charge filling pipe 5. Additionally, this preceding outbreak cutter 9a is driven to rotate by a preceding outbreak cutter drive device 9c through a drive shaft 10 arranged in the diametrical direction of the shield main body 1. |
