PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coated board easily cuttable on site, exhibiting deep and glossy appearance and having high heat-resistance and excellent cleanability especially to oil staining by applying an inorganic coating material containing silicon component as the top layer to a fiber-reinforced inorganic board having a bulk density falling within a specific range. SOLUTION: This coated inorganic board is produced by applying an inorganic coating material containing >=70 wt.% of a silicon component to a fiber-reinforced inorganic board having a bulk density of 0.8-1.5 as a top coating layer having a film thickness of 10-50μm. The inorganic coating material for the top layer preferably has a solid concentration of 20-45 wt.% and a viscosity of 10-100 cps. The surface of the fiber-reinforced inorganic board is preferably smoothed before coating in the case of producing a coated board having mirror- polished surface. Concretely, a fiber-reinforced inorganic board 10 is coated with a solvent-type, a water-soluble or an emulsion-type sealer to form a filler coating film 1, coated with an enamel to form an enamel coating film 2 and applied with a clear coating film 3 with an inorganic coating material to form a top layer.
