<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain inexpensively a strap being easy to use and stout and having an excellent external appearance by a method wherein a part for preventing slip-off of a connecting ring is formed by bending an intermediate part of the connecting ring fixed to the end part of the strap being extensible and contractible, in the shape of a crank when viewed in respect to a longitudinal section. SOLUTION: This strap has a constitution wherein a nearby part 2a of the end part of a string-like connecting ring 2 is fixed to the nearby peripheral surface of the end face 1a of the end of the main body 1 of an extensible-contractible strap molded in the shape of a coil spring out of an elastic resin material. A heat-shrinkable tube 4 is put on this fixing part 3 with a part 4a projecting from the end face 1a of the end of the main body provided. A decorative body 5 of a resin material is fitted on the outer part of the tube by insert injection molding, while the fixing part 3 is reinforced by tightening it strongly by a force of shrink of the heat-shrinkable tube 4 generated by the heat of molten resin at the time of this molding. At the same time, an intermediate part of the connecting ring 2 is put partially along the end face 1a of the end of the main body and bent in the shape of a crank when viewed in respect to a longitudinal section, by a force of contraction of the diameter of the projecting part 4a of the tube.</p> |
