<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cutting modes corresponding to various uses by combining a partial cut mechanism and a total cut mechanism case by case. SOLUTION: The tape printer comprises a head 18 for printing on a print tape comprising a laminate of a print tape and a stripping tape, a section 23 for cutting the print tape being fed from the head 18, a partial cutting mechanism B for cutting only the print tape, a total cut mechanism A for cutting the tape perfectly, means 47 tar controlling the head 18 to print same print content a plurality of times repeatedly along the longitudinal direction of the print tape while clamping specified width of nonprinting parts, and a first control means 48 for operating the partial cutting mechanism B to cut only the print tape at a nonprinting part being formed before each print part is formed by the iterative print control means 47.</p> |
