<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To get rid of the fraying of strap catcher, and also to improve a yield rate in time of cutting, in an air bag. SOLUTION: This air bag A is equipped with a strap 3 to be installed in space between a top part A1 of the air bag composed of sewing a body cloth 1 and a strap catcher 2 attached to an inflator opening part A2. In this case, the strap catcher 2 is formed into an elliptic form, and both ends of the elliptic form is turned to the mounting part by means of sewing with the strap 3. With this, fraying at the time of cutting the strap catcher 2 is eliminated and thereby a high quality air bag is ensured. Moreover, a yield rate when cutting the strap catcher 2 is improved, thereby it becomes predominated from the viewpoint of manufacturing cost.</p> |
