PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable high-speed monochromatic printing by arranging a plurality of color nozzle arrays in parallel to a black nozzle array in the same direction or the opposite direction of the sub scan direction of the black nozzle array shifting from the black nozzle array by a predetermined distance. SOLUTION: A color nozzle array forms an image at an area shifted by 1/360 inch which is 1/4 a nozzle hole distance L1 to an area where a black nozzle array forms an image. That is, in a first main scan, only a black color at a position 60, a black and a cyan colors at a position 61, only a cyan color at a position 62, a black, a cyan and a magnetic colors at a position 63, a cyan and a magenta colors at a position 64, a black, a cyan, a magenta and a yellow colors at a position 65, a cyan, a magenta and a yellow colors at a position 66 are printed and mixed, whereby parts 60, 65, 66 are eventually printed in a combination of colors, namely, black only, black + cyan + magenta + yellow, cyan + magenta + yellow. |
