PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the long-term stabilization of roll squeezing of water, oil or chemicals, etc., remaining on a metallic plate by forming a base material of a fibrous sheet which contains polyphenylene sulfide fibers and fusible fibers and is fused with these fusible fibers. SOLUTION: The fibrous sheet is preferably formed to contain the polyphenylene sulfide(PPS) fibers at 60 to 80 mass % so as to have outstanding chemical resistance, fire retardance and heat resistance. While the line density of the PPS is not particularly limited, the density is preferably set at 0.11 to 1.1 mg/m for the service life of the roll and the line density thereof is not required to be one kind and is preferably >=2 kinds for the better squeezing property and service life. The fusible fibers consist of undrawn PPS fibers, polyolefin fibers, polypropylene/denatured polypropylene composite fibers, etc., and the line density is preferably 0.11 to 1.1 mg/m. The line density of the time may include >=2 kinds. |
