<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically adjust a magnetic tape feed phase to become the best picture quality at the max. level of a regenerative signal with less influence of cross talk from an adjacent track by possessing a detecting rotary magnetic head of cross talk from an adjacent track having an opposite azimuth to a reproducing rotary magnetic head in addition to the reproducing rotary magnetic head. SOLUTION: Outputs of the reproducing rotary magnetic head 1 and the cross talk detecting rotary magnetic head 2 are amplified by amplifiers 3 and 4, output levels of which are then converted into DC signals by envelope detecting circuits 7 and 8 respectively. In an automatic tracking control circuit 9, first, its signal for the purpose of making an output level of the envelope detecting circuit 7 max. is outputted to a servo circuit 10, and secondly, a signal for the purpose of making an output level of the envelope detecting circuit 8 min. is outputted to the servo circuit 10. Consequently, a tracking position of minimizing cross talk from an adjacent track can be obtained, and the best video signal can thus be reproduced.</p> |
