METHOD FOR REGENERATING CONCRETE AGGREGATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently obtain regenerated concrete aggregate having stable good quality by decreasing the coagulated cement components remaining on the surfaces to the lowest possible level. SOLUTION: A stone grinding machine is constituted by arranging an outside shell rotary drum 22 which is disposed with many blades 21 for stone grinding on its inner peripheral surface and a rotor 32 which is disposed with many blades 31 for stone grinding on its ouster peripheral surface on the inner side of the outside shell rotary drum 22 in such a manner that the rotor rotates in the direction reverse from the rotation of the outside shell rotary drum 22 and the revolving shaft of the rotor 32 exists nearer the downstream side of the rotating direction of the outside shell rotary drum 22 from the perpendicular of the revolving shaft of the drum. The regenerated concrete aggregate is obtd. by charging water at a weight ratio of 25 to 100 to 100 pts.wt. to coarsely crushed waste concrete materials 10 into the stone grinding machine described above, peeling and removing the cement parts coagulated on the aggregate surfaces, removing silt under water spraying and washing in the subsequent stages and subjecting the aggregate to grain size sorting.
