摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alloy steel having excellent corrosion-resistance and cracking resistance as hardware to be exposed to a Zn-55 wt.% Al hot dip plating bath heated at 600 deg.C. SOLUTION: This alloy steel has a compsn. contg., by weight, <=0.08% C, 0.3 to 1.5% Si, 0.3 to 1.5% Mn, 10 to 20% Ni, 20 to 35% Cr, 0.5 to 2% Mo, <=2% W, 0.35 to 0.75% N and 0.45 to 1.50% V, in which N and V also satisfy the inequality of 0.2<=N-0.275×V<=0.4 wt.%, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities. In addition to the prolongation of the service life of plating bath hardware, by the prevention of cracking damage (damage due to intergranular stress corrosion cracking) of hoisting accessories and the falling accident of ingots thereby, the stability and safety of the operation can be secured.
