An assembly clip for securing a tube or a wire on a substrate includes a body which has an accommodation portion (1) for accommodating and retaining the tube or wire, and a damping portion (2) with two clamping members (3, 4). The clamping members (3, 4) are movable towards and away from one another for compressing or flaring, respectively, the accommodation portion, and serve for securing the assembly clip on the substrate. The assembly clip has, within the region of the accommodation portion, a joint (5) to permit insertion and removal of the tube or wire into and out of the accommodation portion, respectively, substantially without deformations in the material of the body of the assembly clip. The material of the body is substantially rigid, preferably metal. A protective portion (8) of flexible, resiliently yieldable or elastic material is disposed to cover at least the major portion of the surface of the accommodation portion (1) facing towards the object. <IMAGE> |
