FIELD: oil and gas production industry. SUBSTANCE: this relates to materials used for cementation of oil, gas, and geothermal wells. Light-weight plugging mixture includes portland cement and hollow glass microspheres. Additionally included in mixture is expanded vermiculite sand with following proportioning of components, mas.%: portland cement 92-98, hollow glass microspheres 1-4, expanded vermiculite sand - the balance. Application of aforesaid mixture gives lower contraction of solution with reduction of thermal conductivity of cement stone. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 tbl
