FIELD: hydraulic engineering. SUBSTANCE: this can be used in construction of motor roads and in erection of earth levees for water supply systems and embankments of motor roads. Water-passing structure is made up of earth levee located preferably on inclined base, and water receiving bowl embedded in inclined base. Connected to bowl at its bottom is one end of water outflow pipe which is laid with positive incline. Walls and bottom of water receiving bowl are made water-permeable. Bowl is located on drainage bed, and draining layer is placed at external sides of its walls. Brought to water receiving bowl is linear drainage which is oriented in plan along earth levee. Aforesaid embodiment of water-passing structure ensures reduction of depressive surface in area of upper wedge of earth levee at quick emptying of headrace and under levee after emptying of headrace, thus increasing stability of upper and lower slopes of earth levee, and adding operation reliability to structure.
