FIELD: nuclear-power engineering; sealing of rod-type fuel elements of nuclear reactors with metal envelopes. SUBSTANCE: device has sectors consisting of ring current conduit and holder made of non-conducting material assembled into pack by means of conical dielectric rivets. Holder houses ring stop-cooler made up of set of electrically isolated metal plates. Plates are electrically connected by strip shunts and studs. Sectional holder is made of insulator and material similar to that of which ring stop-cooler is made, metal part of holder being part of ring stop-cooler. Plates of ring stop-cooler in each sector are connected to each other in pairs. Extreme plates are connected, respectively, with current conduit and with metal part of holder by conducting nonsplit joint. Development of each sector is "bellows". length of its flexible part L is nxh, where n is number of plates, pcs; h is width of plate, mm. Rigid metal gaskets are placed between plates, current conduit and holder. Nonsplit conducting joints are formed in corners of "bellows".
