DEVICE FOR PROTECTION OF VEHICLE CAB FROM SOLAR RADIATION

FIELD: transport engineering; tractors, agricultural and road-building machines. SUBSTANCE: proposed device has glazed window panels arranged in cab walls. Glazing is made triple-layer, consisting of two glass plates and solar radiation protective layer in between. This layer consists of perforated foil and nonhardening viscous adhesive layer. Lever is fitted through holes in glazing layer. This lever thrusts by its spherical end against concave surface of outer glass hole. Other end of lever thrusts against convex spherical surface of inner glass hole having passed through perforation holes of foil layers arranged opposite to each other. Number of layers exceeds one. Foil layer are installed for displacement relative to glasses. Lever is thread-connected with wing nut. EFFECT: improved operating conditions owing to reduction of load on eyes by protection of eyes against excessive illumination, reduced heat getting into vehicle cab. 1 dwg
