PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To turn a digital pointing device to a portable medium owned by an individual by making an application processor access a remote position defined by a digital pointer and retrieve original information corresponding to the digital pointer. SOLUTION: This electronic business card is provided with a digital information transmitter(DIT) 10, is provided with a pointer 12 connected to it and holds digital information. The pointer 12 is downloaded from the DIT 10 through a communication link 14 and through an input device 16 to the application processor 18 and the application processor 18 is provided with a local memory 20 and stores the pointer 12 and the relating information. The application processor 18 uses the pointer 12 and decides the position on a network of the remote position from which the application processor 18 can access the information relating to a card owner and the DIT 10. |
