<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute an electrode plate group capable of coping with decrease in the distance between electrode plates attendant on making the electrode plate thin, and being free from the slippage of a separator. SOLUTION: A bondable mixture layer 14 comprising an adhesive and insulating powder is formed on each surface of a thin, long positive electrode plate 12 and a thin, long negative electrode plate 13. Counter electrodes are piled up to form an electrode plate group, then the electrode plate group is spirally wound, and the bondable mixture is cured to form the bondable mixture layer 14, and they are housed into a cylindrical battery case without use of a separator different from the existing method.</p> |
