<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming material by which an excellent erased state is obtained without depending on a binder used and also an erased state is stabilized by incorporating a color compound, a developing agent and an erasing agent and erasing the image forming material developed on a storage medium by bringing it into contact with a solvent. SOLUTION: The image forming material is brought into contact with the solvent so as to erase the image forming material incorporating the color compound, the developing agent and the erasing agent and color-developed on the storage medium. The image forming material may also incorporate a basic compound by this method. Also, the image forming material may incorporate the binder. The solvent may incorporate the erasing agent. It is preferable to remove the solvent from the storage medium after bringing the image forming material into contact with the solvent by this method. It is preferable to incorporate polystyrene or styrene-acrylic copolymer as the binder or to incorporate polyester or an epoxy resin as the binder.</p> |
