PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently specify an optimum drill diameter without requiring a film for each layer by outputting pattern and hole data from a CAD system and allowing a computer read the data, and then calculating and classifying an interval to the adjacent pattern and the range. SOLUTION: In a CAD system 1, the design pattern and hole data of each layer are created for the coordinates. Then, a computer 2 is allowed to reach the created design pattern and hole data for all layers. A pattern data table and a hole data table are displayed on the display of the computer as needed. An interval to the adjacent pattern is calculated for all holes, the interval is compared with a reference classification table being set to the computer in advance for classification, and a range that the interval belongs to is stored. When the range that the minimum interval being taken out of all layers is larger than a given range, a drill diameter is specified. When it is smaller, it is examined whether a design pattern should be corrected or not for each layer being taken out. |
