PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power saving constant current charging and discharging device, which can make effective use of discharging energy. SOLUTION: This charging and discharging device is provided with a contact current charging and discharging power source 2, a charging and discharging circuit 4 connected to the charging and discharging power source 2, and the connecting terminal of a battery 6 to be charged and discharged which is connected to the charging and discharging circuit 4. In this case, the discharging circuit is an inverter circuit which is constituted is connected to the charging and discharging circuit 4 to the charging and discharging power source 2 via an inductance 4a, so that the charging and discharging circuit 4 regenerates the discharging energy of the battery to be changed and discharged to the primary power source. |
