The glove, having an electrode and a system for conducting electricity from an external source, is made by knitting insulating filaments and stainless steel conducting wires, the latter forming between 20 and 50 per cent of the glove's material. The maximum value for the current density passing through the glove is 0.5 mA/cm<2>, and its frequency can be 4 or 5 Hz, 32 Hz or 125 Hz. The gloves are worn over very thin insulating gloves, and the metal wires knitted with insulating filaments are sufficiently supple to apply to the skin.
