PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To issue a bankbook with a free design by recording carry-over information of a bankbook in an IC chip, attaching an IC chip on which information on the carry-over is recorded to a bankbook that is newly issued and issuing the new bankbook. SOLUTION: If a detail record column of the bankbook 1 is used up and carry-over occurs when a customer transacts by using a bankbook 1 through a financial terminal device, information showing carry-over occurrence, bankbook page configuration information, detailed information equivalent to the carry-over, magnetic stripe information, etc., are recorded in an IC chip 3 of the bankbook 1. The customer selects a new bankbook among plural bankbooks which are prepared with different designs when a new bankbook is issued. The IC chip attached to the old bankbook is attached to the attachment position of an IC chip of the new selected bankbook. A cover, an inside cover, details, etc., in the new bankbook are printed based on various information recorded on the IC chip attached to the new bankbook, account information, etc., are recorded on the magnetic stripe of the new bankbook and the new bankbook is returned to the customer. |
