摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontally deflection coil distribution suitable for high frequency deflection giving excellent image properties with lowered deflection power consumption, regarding a cathode-ray tube comprising an approximately pyramid-shape funnel yoke part. SOLUTION: In this cathode-ray tube apparatus comprising a cathode-ray tube having an approximately rectangular screen and a funnel yoke part with an approximately pyramid-like shape for installing a deflection yoke, the horizontally wound wire 22a of the deflection yoke is distributed in the longer side and the shorter side while forming an angleθ, which is defined as tanθ=M/N (wherein M and N are defined as the aspect ratio M:N of the screen), from the tube axis to the vertical axis V in a cross-section vertical to the tube axis and the ratio of the wound wire in the shorter side is controlled to be 85% or higher in at least one cross-section vertical to the tube axis.
