<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a high withstand voltage and a large capacity and at the same time miniaturize a vacuum capacitor by forming each cylindrical electrode plate for constituting a fixed electrode and a movable electrode with copper and at the same time coating the surface with nickel or chromium. SOLUTION: Cylindrical electrode plates F1-Fn and M1-Mn for constituting a fixed electrode 6 and a movable electrode 8 are formed by copper with a specific thickness. And, the surface is coated with nickel or chromium with a larger hardness and a higher melting point than copper. The coating should be made by plating or deposition and the coating thickness should be approximately 1μm or longer, thus increasing the withstand voltage of the cylindrical electrode plates F1-Fn and M1-Mn and reducing the gap between the electrode plates. Also, the number of cylindrical electrode plates F1-Fn and M1-Mn is reduced and a cross distance is reduced, thus increasing capacitance, miniaturizing a vacuum capacitor, and reducing the cost.</p> |
