PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor capable of obtaining an operation environment for supplying and interrupting power to for a device body by a power supply switch in accordance with user's intention. SOLUTION: A power supply managing controller 15 detects the depression time of a power supply switch 3 by a power supply managing program stored in a flash ROM 18, and when the detected depression time of the switch 3 reaches set reference time, power supply to a CPU 11 or the like is started or interrupted through a power feeder 27. The reference time for the depression time of the switch 3 can be set up to one time selected from plural previously determined time and reference time setting processing for setting up the reference time is executed by the CPU 11 based on a program stored in a RAM 13.
