PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve yield and quality by electrically short-circuiting all scanning lines and signal lines with short circuit lines and taking complete antistatic measures for panel assembling and mounting processes by forming connection terminals for the short circuit lines and inspection terminals connected to the scanning lines and signal lines respectively. SOLUTION: Scanning lines and signal lines 12 are divided into blocks, each block of scanning lines has 1st inspection terminals formed at both the ends of the series-connected scanning lines, and each block of signal lines 12 has 2nd inspection terminals 31 formed at both the ends of the series-connected signal lines 12. A connection terminal 41 is formed for a short-circuit line 40 formed at the peripheral part of an active substrate. Here, the manufacturing process of the active substrate is completed while the connection terminal 41 and 1st and 2nd inspection terminal 31, etc., are connected by a connection line. For electric inspection, a voltage is applied between the short circuit line terminal 42 and inspection terminal 31, etc., to vaporize the connection line. After the electric inspection, a connection line is formed again by laser CVD. |
