PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce operations of a user when making a telephone call through a leased telephone line like an internet by allowing an adapter to automatically transmit dial-up to an internet connection company and user related information for certification. SOLUTION: An adapter 102 automatically transmits dial-up to an internet connection company and user related information for authentication. Namely, in such a system, the adapter 102 automatically transmits the user related information, which is conventionally inputted through the dial buttons of a key telephone by a user, to a server 104 of the internet telephone company. In this case, the server 104 for communication is installed in the internet telephone connection company and connects a public telephone line network 103 and an internet communication network 105. On such an internet communication network 105, audio signals are digitally transmitted according to a predetermined standard.
