PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the safety device of an image forming device constituted so that the constitution of an outer cover is simplified and the safety and the reliability of the image forming device are enhanced by an interlocking switch. SOLUTION: The safety device of the image forming device is provided with the plurally divided outer covers 3 and 4 which can be opened and closed and the interlocking switch 25 operated in accordance with the closing action of the plural outer covers 3 and 4. By arranging, the switch 25 interlocked with only the specified outer cover /closed last in some order out of the plural covers 3 and 4 and arranging a closing prevention member interlocked with the outer cover other than the specified outer cover so as to prevent the specified outer cover from being closed when the closing order of the plural covers 3 and 4 is different from the regular order, the malfunction of the switch 25 is prevented from occurring. |
