PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communications system capable of highly accurately demodulating modulated signals without increasing the circuit scale. SOLUTION: This system is the communications system or modulating IQ signals by a QAM system by using a modulation matrix X and is provided with a modulator 13 for multiplying the modulation matrix X to the IQ signals and outputting pass band signals S, a transmission line 14 for transmitting the pass band signals S and a demodulator 15 for multiplying a demodulation matrix Y=(XT X)-1XT (T is a transposed matrix) and the path band signals S outputted from the transmission line 14 and demodulating the IQ signals.
