PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make parking fee calculation short and to prevent a user from waiting by reading a fee for each unit hour from a table and adding the total, calculating a fraction fee at the time of exit according to a start time of a unit hour including an exit time and the exit time and summing fees calculated in each process. SOLUTION: A fee adjusting device first obtains, e.g. an entrance time read from a parking ticket and the current time from a clock part, sets them to an exit time and records them on an entrance exit time setting part (P1). A fee calculating part calculates parking fee by adding fraction fee at the time of entrance from the entrance time till 24 o'clock of the day every hour (P2). Next, it calculates fees from 0 o'clock till a time to exit by adding them every hour (P3). Furthermore, except entrance and exit day, the value of the charge table corresponding to each day during the period is added to the above by unit hour. Finally, the fee calculating part adds these three values (P5) and obtains them as a parking fee to be calculated. |
