PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a gas insulated switch device for forming a switch circuit to supply power received from a plurality of lines to a plurality of transformer banks via an MOF. SOLUTION: A gas insulated switch device forms unit pairs UP1, UP2 by arranging side by side one unit of power receiving units U11, U12 and transformer connecting units U21, U22 and also forms a bus container 104 of each unit pair by directly connecting the bus accommodating container forming each unit pair. The unit pairs UP1, UP2 and MOF are arranged, and the bus container 104 and MOF connecting container 105 are connected in series and these containers accommodate reciprocal conductors 110u, 110w, 111u, 111w and single conductors 110v, 111v. Both end phases of the power receiving side bus BUS1 and transformer side bus BUS2 are formed respectively by the up- conductor and down-conductor of the reciprocal conductors, and the intermediate phase of both buses is formed by a single conductor.
