PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To limit the number of parts in a region communicating with a discharging opening even if the number of parts is increased for the entire hopper by providing a partition wall for partitioning the hopper internally into a plurality of regions for storing a plurality of chip-like electronic parts. SOLUTION: The partition wall 15 extend to partition a hopper 3a internally into two conducting regions 13, 14 for storing a plurality of chip-like electronic parts 2. The upper region 13 stores a plurality of chip-like electronic parts 2 preliminarily. The chip-like electronic parts 2 are then transferred from the region 13 to the region 14. Quantity of the electronic parts 2 to be transferred from the region 13 to the region 14 is determined to satisfy conditions that substantially all parts in the region 14 are ejected from an ejection opening 4 before reciprocal motion of a movable pipe 7 causes deterioration of quality and conditions that a sufficient number of parts for picking up are present in the region 14. |
