PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover nonvolatile solvent from a heating member and to effectively use the solvent in a wet-type image forming device, which has a fixing means for fixing a toner image by the contact of the heating member with the toner image, applies the nonvolatile solvent onto a recording medium together with the toner particles, and causes the nonvolatile solvent to stick to the heating member, thereby improving releasability between the heating member and the toner particles. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a cleaning blade 83 which removes the nonvolatile oil sticking to the surface of the heat roller 81, and a recovering means which has a liquid-carrier tank 101 for storing the nonvolatile oil removed by the cleaning blade 83. The device supplies the nonvolatile oil, recovered by the recovering means, to a liquid-developer tank in which a liquid-carrier component is insufficient, thereby reusing the nonvolatile oil. |
