<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transformer and a method for mounting it, wherein without making significant changes in a method for mounting a transformer on a mounting substrate, disconnection between the transformer and the mounting substrate, including peeling of a copper foil land from the transformer under external force, such as vibration and drop impact, can be prevented. SOLUTION: This transformer is provided with a bobbin around which a coil is wound, a metal lead terminal 9 provided at a terminal block of the bobbin for soldering to a mounting substrate 2, and a magnetic material core assembled into the bobbin, a profile part 13 which deforms elastically under an external force at an intermediate part is formed, while a lead terminal 9 for soldering (11) so that a bottom surface of the transformer moves away from the mounting substrate 2 is provided.</p> |
