The pump comprises a tube (1), whose bottom end (11) extends into the water table (E), closed by a non-return valve (12). The tube contains a pumping rod (2) and pumping pistons (21) along its length powered by a motor unit (3). A compensating tube (5) surrounding the exhaust tube (1) connects the top part (51) of the pump to the lower part (52) of the exhaust tube (1) at a zone just above the lowest piston (21A).
