PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the connection operability between end of an optical fiber composite overhead ground line to each other, to prevent the transmission performance of an optical fiber cable from being degraded and further, to improve the maintenance operability of a fiber core connections. SOLUTION: This optical connection box for an optical fiber composite overhead ground line connects the end of the optical fiber composite overhead ground line 15 which incorporates optical fiber units 5 having plural optical fiber cores. the connection box 60 forms storage trays 51 which can store a division part 40 for dividing the optical fiber units 5 into the plural optical fiber cores, connection excessive length 13 of the plural optical fibers cores and an optical fiber core connections 25 for connecting the optical fiber cores to each other in a connection box body 20 and is stacked in plural stages in the depth direction of the connection box body 20, the storage trays 51 stacked in the plural stages are coupled with the connection body by fittings 50 turnably and provided so that the storage trays 51 can be drawn out to the connection box body 20.
