The casing (1) is composed of a tub-like lower part (3) and a hood-like upper part (2), having a seal ring (10) at the edge of its side wall (5). The lower part has a step (6) circulating at an inside of its side wall (4), as supporting surface for the seal ring. The seal ring equalizes tolerances between lower part and upper part, and is shaped together with the circulating step in radial and axial direction.
