<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic recording device suitable for a dubbing. SOLUTION: Let the ratio between the revolving speed of a rotary magnetic head and a reference revolving speed be M and the ratio between the running speed of a magnetic tape T and a reference running speed be N. Then, the angle between the rotating locus surface of the head and a reference edge Te of the tape T is matched with a reference track angle by the operation of a drum tilt control section 8 so that the recording trace of the reference track angle is recorded on the tape T by the head even though the ratios M and N are different. Moreover, based on the values of the ratios M and N, control signals are supplied to a drum control section 6 and a capstan control system 32. Furthermore, the frequency of clock signals is varied to match the physical length of the recorded portion corresponding to the recording signals of a recording trace with the physical length of the recorded portion corresponding to the recording signals in the recording trace formed on the tape T by two rotary magnetic heads H while the heads are rotating at a reference revolving speed and the tape T is running at a referrecne speed.</p> |
