PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spread spectrum communication equipment by which a local frequency is eliminated from a spatial carrier and a large margin is provided with accuracy of a delay by using a low intermediate frequency. SOLUTION: This equipment is provided with a spatial frequency oscillator that generates a signal with a spatial carrier frequency, a modulation section 2 that applies spread spectrum modulation to transmission data and applies phase modulation to the data with the signal of the spatial carrier frequency which is outputted from the spatial carrier frequency oscillator, a local frequency oscillator 7 that generates the signal with a local frequency, an intermediate frequency conversion section 6 that receives the local frequency from the local frequency oscillator 7 to convert the frequency of a received signal from the spatial carrier frequency into an intermediate frequency, and a demodulation section 8 that receives the signal with the intermediate frequency, outputted from the intermediate frequency conversion section 6 and demodulates the signal into original data. |
