<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an error due to the arrangement failure of a cartridge accessing device by moving the cartridge accessing device while making it traverse the arrangement of cartridges in a positioning system. SOLUTION: In an elevating/lowering system 10 for elevating and lowering a reciprocating base 16, this system is provided with an intra-track pin position instructing device 20 which includes at least one position instruction track having first and second inclined branches 40, 42 and at least one guide pin 36 which is to be engaged with the position instruction track and which is related to the elevating and lowering base 16, a changeover device 22 which is related to the intra-track pin position instructing device 20 in order to make the guide pin 16 trace the first and second inclined branches 40, 42 of the instruction track and an actuator 24 which is to be operated in association with the intra-track pin position instructing device 20 in order to elevate and lower the reciprocating base 16 while activating the device 20.</p> |
