PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an autoanalyzer which eliminates a need of setting a reference voltage by adjusting an analog potentiometer when a level is detected by a capacitance sensor and when the cleaning of a pipette is confirmed by the capacitance sensor. SOLUTION: An autoanalyzer detects a level on the basis of a change in the oscillation frequency of a CR oscillator 5 in which the capacitance of a pipette 1 is set as C. In the autoanalyzer, a change in the capacitance C of the pipette 1 due to its contact with the level is monitored as a change in the pulse width of square waves obtained from the CR oscillator 5. In addition, when the change in the capacitance C of the pipette 1 due to its contact with the level is monitored as the change in the pulse width of the square waves obtained from the CR oscillator 5, a proper bias value is set at a level detection circuit according to the kind and the quantity of a liquid to be measured, according to the kind (the size, the material or the like) of a container and according to the kind of an inspection item. In addition, the change in the capacitance C of the pipette 1 in the cleaning of the pipette 1 is monitored as the change in the pulse width of the square waves obtained from the CR oscillator 5. Thereby, whether the pipette 1 is cleaned normally or not is judged. |
