<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an FMCW radar apparatus by which the peak of a target is detected surely among from inessential reflected signal (clutters) other than the target. SOLUTION: A transmitted signal which is frequency modulated by triangular waves and a received signal which is reflected by a target are detected by a detector 16, and a best signal is generated. The beat signal is supplied to a signal processor 18, the frequency is analyzed, and the peak of a rise phase and the peak of a fall phase are detected. A threshold value computing part 18d in the signal processor 18 sets a threshold value for next peal detection on the basis of a frequency spectrum obtained by excluding a peak corresponding to the target on the basis of a frequency analyzed result in the past. A peal detection part 18d detects the peal by using the set threshold value. Since the threshold value is set on the basis of the frequency spectrum in the past, only the peal of the target can be detected even when a clutter exists.</p> |
