PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent miscopying, to restrain the lowering of working efficiency and to reduce cost and the waste of resources by automatically setting an original coexisting mode when a different-size original exists in an original group. SOLUTION: Before copying operation, the sizes of plural originals to be copied are detected. When the sizes of the plural originals are not the same, the size of the original is detected per each of the plural originals, and then the original coexisting mode in which copying action is executed in accordance with the detected size is set. In the original coexisting mode, the size of the original to be copied, which is fed by an original feeding device 10, is detected for every original by using an original sensor 14s, and a recording sheet is fed based on the detected size of the original. When the original to be copied is set on an original platen glass, the recording sheet is started to be fed from a supply source selected based on the size of the original. |
