PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image compression/expansion device where plural users protect their own image data respectively in a same storage medium. SOLUTION: A pair of compression data compressed by a data compression section 10 and a password inputted by a password input section 20 is stored in an image storage section 30. In the case that the inputted password is coincident with the password in pairs with the desired compression data among the compression data stored in the image storage section 30 and the coincidence is detected by a password coincidence detection section 40, a data expansion section 50 normally expands the desired compression data. |
